Hello World!!

Welcome to my blog…..well, going on in my world at the moment, are memories of a great family summer; an eventful 2012 in a world wise way and preparations for winter.  We’re approaching winter and readying ourselves for a rough economical ride in Greece.  And it’s time to harvest winter wood and walnuts, with olive harvesting just around the corner.  Will we celebrate Halloween this year, in my English way?  I hope so, since I find it as much fun as my kids do.

With winter arriving soon and school having begun again, it’s back to my writing for me.  I’d very much like to continue with ‘Miracles & Magic’, my meta-physical, full length fiction but I’ve a feeling it’s going to be put on the back burner once again as a story a bit more thrilling may be bursting to be told.  You’ll have to wait and see.  This winter will see me partaking of many more radio and t.v. interviews (via Skype) since I’ve quite a few exciting subjects that I’d like to talk about.

At this point, I’d like to say a great big thank you to the Canadians, especially those from the state of Ontario, who are my biggest readers and fans!  Thanks guys, I’m hoping that I can get some air time in Canada, just for you.

Have my predictions so far for 2012 come true?  I believe that they have, at least most of them.  I’m ashamed to say that I’ve not been following the news so closely this year, most of it being about Greek politics.

So, that’s it for now, in a walnut shell however, I will promise to blog a lot more this winter.  Love and light to all.

Hello world!

Welcome to my blog!

I’m hoping that we can get to know each other a bit so I’m going to start by telling you what is going on in my world at the moment – I look forward to your comments and posts in reply!

Christmas 2011 saw me pretty busy, as a mother of two young children, I’d just published another two books and was ready to start promoting them. There was also the role of Santa, wife, cook and cleaner to be played so even though every moment was thoroughly enjoyable, it’s been a very busy ‘holiday’. I hope it’s been a great one for you and wish you all the best for 2012. 2012…hmm..I think won’t bring much of that which many are expecting but there are a few surprises coming our way and it’s still going to be an exciting year with 2013, hopefully even better!

Winter is progressing well in Greece with the Olive season almost over. Our days are kept full with the cooking of warm, filling dishes, feeding the animals and bringing in wood for the stove. I’m looking forward to my predictions beginning to come true, especially March when things begin to get more exciting (for me at any rate!) and also because 17th March will bring the warm South breezes which mark the start of Spring – my favourite season. On nice warm, Winter days, I’m making sure that I manage to get out and about collecting plants and flowers for eating and also flowers and branches for vases in my home. There’s almost always a couple of branches of Rowanberry in a vase, excellent for warding off the ‘evil eye’ and there’s usually some Myrtle which smells wonderful and I like to believe ‘opens the senses’.

Whilst sitting in a tree today, collecting Clementines, it came to me that it really is a beautiful land, a beautiful world – and that life is a wonderful and precious thing. There are so many mysteries that we can almost reach out and touch now, the answers just within reach of us. There are so many matters that I would love to discuss with people…the easiest way for me to do that is by writing books. It is said that every writer has a message to convey…and that every person has their own story. I’d love to hear yours and discuss some of the mysteries that interest you.

May 2012 bring you all that you need and see you blessed with light, love and happiness.
